In 2019, Florida Impact to End Hunger began its second healthy retail project in Homestead, Florida. This project builds upon the existing framework and partnerships from Miami Gardens.
The food environment survey (Nutrition Environment Measures Survey) will begin in 2020 as the first step towards bringing fresh fruits and vegetables to the Homestead community.

Are you a Homestead resident? We want to hear from you! Register here to join the Homestead Food Access Coalition. The Homestead Food Access Coalition is seeking resident-leaders to share thoughts, concerns, and ideas around helping the Homestead community have better access to affordable, nutritious food. This information will be used to create recommendations for City and County leadership.
